Michael Mulcahy was born and raised in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, a Milwaukee suburb.

He is a graduate of St. Louis University where he earned a BS degree in Business and received a Doctor of Laws degree from Marquette University.

Having retired in 2008, his career was spent almost entirely as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of the Gehl Company, a publicly held international manufacturing company with annual sales of over $500 million.

In addition, for many years he also served as the President of a Bermuda-based, off-shore captive insurance company that provided liability insurance to its corporate members worldwide.

He is a former officer of the Milwaukee Corporate Secretaries Association, a former director of local homeowners association, and for many years provided pro bono legal services to a local hospital.

He resides seasonally in Palm Springs and otherwise in Holland, Michigan.
