Chris Seidel, President

Chris Seidel joined the board of directors in 2012.  A native of Pennsylvania, he holds a B.A. degree in English from Dickinson College and a certificate in association management from the Graduate School of Public Administration of New York University.  Prior to retirement in 2004, he was employed by several major professional associations where he held senior management positions such as President and CEO, CPA Associates International; Vice President , Member Services, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and Vice President , Member Services, the National Association of Realtors.  During his career he was a member of the American Society of Association Executives and held its Certified Association Executive designation.  In a volunteer capacity, he has served as a member of the board of directors of the New York Society of Association Executives, a trustee of the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, a member of the board of directors of Porchlight Music Theater (Chicago), and national president of his college fraternity and board chair of its related educational foundation.  He is a past president of the Friends of the Palm Springs Library.  He divides his time between Palm Springs and Holland, Michigan, where he is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Saugatuck/Douglas.
