Ruth Messenger

Ruth Messenger has been a member of the board of directors of PSCCA since the fall of 2015. She graduated Cum Laude from Chapman University, Orange, California with a B.A. in Social Sciences, majoring in psychology/sociology with a minor in finance.

Before retirement in 2000, her career was with the Banking Industry. She worked in the retail branch system in the Inland Empire, California and held positions in several banks as Operations Manager and Branch Manager. She worked as Regional Operations Manager in Division Administration and as Vice President in Corporate Human Resources and Training. She was a member of the American Institute of Banking.

As a volunteer, she has served as treasurer and vice president of the Stallion Springs Property Owners Association, a member and secretary of the board of directors and choir director of the Stallion Springs Community Church, and as accountant for the Relay for Life, Tehachapi Chapter.

Ruth became a full-time resident of Palm Springs in October, 2015.
